This silver and gold plated bronze sculpture of a buffalo hunt was created by Theodore Baur. The statue depicts the American Indian hunter on the back of a rearing horse, spear in both hands as he drives it into the bison's bowed head. The German-born Baur was known for his sculptures of American Indians and American frontier life.
